JOIN US THIS TUESDAY FOR HUSTINGS!! Everyone will have the chance to listen and meet the candidates who are running. Many important positions are up for election in this round of hustings, so please attend the event and vote for who you think is best.

Join us on the 22nd of March at UCL’s Phineas bar. This free intercollegiate event will have university students from across London who are passionate about MUN and politics more generally. The sign-up form link is in UCL UNA’s Instagram description linktree. Student ID and Government ID are required, and all attendees must be over 18. Music will be played throughout the night, and areas with different intensities of music and ample seating will be present. A tap at the bar will be provided for the start of the event, and cheap drinks will be available throughout the night. We hope to see you all there!

This unique event offers an opportunity to explore Austria’s diplomatic priorities and the UK-Austria bilateral relationship. This week, UCL UNA will host a debate on the latest developments in the Middle East. Despite the armed conflict breaking out between Israel, the US, and Iran, countries in the region are caught in the crossfire, and nations from across the world are feeling the repercussions. Delegates will debate this topic, upholding the UN principles of peace and diplomacy amid this tense military situation. This week’s session will be more serious than past ones; nevertheless, it’s open to all levels. We hope to see you all there!

This Wednesday afternoon, UCL UNA had the honor of hosting an amazing speaker!! The professor shared his extensive experience in the field of international organizations and was open to many of our questions. He focused on the current state of the United Nations in detail and on how individuals both inside and outside the organization have influenced its effectiveness and reputation. We would like to thank Dr. Simon Chin-Yee once again for his time and hope everyone who attended enjoyed the event.

UCL UNA was honored to participate in and contribute to this year’s edition of LIMUN! Thank you to all the UCL UNA delegates and chairs who represented our society at the conference. Our delegates participated in high-level debates, consistently presenting unique perspectives and well-researched arguments. Our chairs moderated debates fairly, respecting ROP and maintaining a sense of humor. Congratulations to all our delegates who won awards. Thank you to the LIMUN secretariat for organizing the event.
