Since its founding in 2011, ECFR's Middle East and North Africa Program continues to cement its reputation amongst senior officials and policymakers within the EU Institutions and national governments. Through its unique mixture of prescriptive policy recommendations and targeted advocacy campaigns the MENA program has continued to play a leading role in shaping European policy towards the Middle

East and North Africa

As part of the continuing expansion of ECFR's MENA Programme we launched in July 2012 a new project dedicated to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with the aim of creating more informed and more effective policy engagement on the issue by European governments and key international partners.
