Rally Up Community are returning this Saturday from 10am–12pm for another action-packed 2-hour Pickleball session!

Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or you’re already a seasoned player, everyone is welcome.

Another inspiring session for our Step Up cohort!

This Monday, we explored the world of branding and marketing with gaining valuable insights into how to build a strong brand, communicate your message, and grow with confidence.

‘I enjoyed the thorough walkthrough on branding, the different channels available, and the importance of customer experience across various touchpoints. The exercise around handling an unhappy but unreasonable customer was particularly useful, as I actually found myself applying it to a real-life situation the very next day.‘ - Step Up Participant

Rally Up was founded by Amira Mohamed, who is part of this year’s Step Up programme. The Arkitecs really enjoyed the session, bringing great energy, conversation and connection throughout the evening. 🙌

Back at Prendergast Vale School for another Step Into Business session 💡

This week, The Arkitecs continued exploring branding and marketing, understanding the difference between the two and how both play a big role in building a successful business. They then took everything they learnt and finalised their logo designs and brand ideas 🎨

It’s been great seeing their confidence and creativity continue to grow each week.

Last night’s online Step Up session with Adrian gave our young people a deeper understanding of what it really takes to build and run a business 💻

The session explored the different types of businesses and the legislation behind them, helping participants understand the responsibilities, structures and decisions that come with entrepreneurship.

‘’The legal structures workshop today was really good and informative. It was helpful having questions answered throughout, and the session felt interactive rather than just being talked at. I also liked going through the different structures again, charities, CICs, cooperatives, societies, CLGs etc. The history and storytelling behind how some of these structures came about added a lot of value too.’’ - Participant

These conversations are so important because they move ideas beyond just creativity and into the real world of business.

Following the powerful conversations in London, we then travelled to Nottinghamshire and did it all again.

Connecting with more young people and families impacted by parental imprisonment, continuing to listen, learn and make sure this campaign reflects voices from communities across the country.

We’re challenging the stigma they face and determined to change public perceptions and biases.

Thank you to everyone who showed up as their authentic selves. Your voices are what’s shaping this important work.

This is just the beginning. More roundtables will be happening across the UK as we continue building a campaign rooted in real stories, real experiences and real change.

Back at Prendergast Vale and straight back to building 💭

This week, our Arkitecs continued developing their Business Model Canvas, really getting into the detail of their ideas and what it takes to turn them into something real.

We also started stepping into public speaking, with each group presenting their Business Model Canvas back to the room. It’s not easy getting up and sharing your ideas, but they showed confidence, clarity and real belief in what they’re creating.

We are really seeing the growth!!
