Anti-inflammatory treatments are an important part of managing lung health in people with CF, alongside treatments for infections.

But we need better and more specific anti-inflammatory treatments.

We’re funding a new Strategic Research Centre at the University of Glasgow, led by Professor Robert Gray to address this.

Head to our website to read a more detailed summary of the planned research.

Ready for your next challenge? With an overseas event, you could complete your next personal best hiking in Iceland, cycling the Golden Coast, or following in the footsteps of the Incas in Peru.

Mike – who ran the Da Nang Half Marathon in Vietnam in support of Cystic Fibrosis Trust – talked to us about his experience of taking on an overseas challenge: "There were many memorable moments, including starting the race at 4:30am, finishing with the sun rising over the sea, running with my sons and their friends, and celebrating all nine of our team finishing the race."

When asked what he would say to someone considering taking on a similar challenge, Mike said: "Don't hesitate! Life is too short not to push the boundaries and enjoy doing something different. You won't regret it!"

Whether you're looking for your next big adventure, or want to travel with purpose, every pound you raise taking on an overseas challenge helps fund vital research for everyone in the UK living with .

Start your adventure today. Head to the 'Team CF' tab on the link in our bio to get started.

Fundraiser Friday ✨

Peter Murray – also known as Mr Knutsford – once again turned Knutsford yellow in memory of his daughter Danielle. Over 90% of the town’s businesses were involved, and he sold out a huge Yellow Bow Tie Ball where the band Toploader had the dance floor rocking.

Through his amazing awareness raising, fundraising at the ball and from generous donations, Peter raised an incredible £22,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Thank you to everyone who supported this incredible event. 💛

You can now sign up to host your own Wear Yellow Day event next year! Find out more and register your interest on our website.
