🌸 Essex Mesothelioma, Lung Cancer & Asbestos Disease Support Group 🌸

Join us for a welcoming and supportive session where you can meet others, share experiences, find information and access valuable support.

We’re pleased to welcome Lisa Curtis from Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, who will share information about the services available and how people can access their support.

Our group will be facilitated by our Head of Service, Louise Chaffe, alongside our Client Support Advisor, Katrina Armstrong.

💙 A huge thank you to Leigh Day! 💙

A big thank you to the Leigh Day asbestos team for completing their 15km walk in support of the London Asbestos Support Awareness Group (LASAG).

We were delighted that our Support Advisers, Katrina and Sophie, joined the team for this fantastic event, helping to raise awareness of mesothelioma, asbestos-related diseases and silicosis.

Walking past UCLH, St Bartholomew’s and Guy’s hospitals was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the healthcare professionals who provide vital treatment and support to individuals and families affected by these devastating diseases.

We are incredibly grateful to Leigh Day for their generosity and continued support of LASAG’s work across London and the Home Counties. 💙

On 8 October 2026, the Leigh Day Asbestos Team will be taking part in the Mesothelioma Hospital Walk, walking between St Bartholomew’s, University College London, and Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals — all to raise funds for London Asbestos Support Awareness Group (LASAG).

We are incredibly grateful to the Leigh Day team for choosing to support LASAG and for taking on this challenge to help us continue our work supporting people living with mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases, as well as their families.
