The Whirling Dervishes of West London Dervish turning from the Mevlevi order of dervishes has been taught and practiced at the Study Socie Enquiries can be made through this site .

Turning ceremonies (Mukabeles) are practiced on the 1st and 3rd friday of each month. The Mukabele is open to guests on the 1st friday of each month. On the 2nd and 4th friday we have a turning practice where there is a chance for people who are not yet turners, to learn to slow turn: a very simple and stilling practice. For those who wish to learn to turn in the ceremony, classes take place weekly and at some weekends over a period of 5 months. A new training course will start in January 2012
