We used 2 vans + 1 van + 1 van. Again complex logistics. Some went to Boryspil area, lots to Kyiv, some to Lviv and some to Uzhhorod.
Thousands of kilometres. Mixed with sadness because our city, Kramatorsk, is being destroyed and is slowly dying but also joy when families are re-united with those who stayed behind.
We've been doing evacuations from the frontline since 2022. Non-stop.
save lives! BUT we can only do that if there's fuel, and for there to be fuel there has to be money to buy it. For which of course there has to be support from YOU and YOU and YOU!

Evacuations save lives! We evacuate people AND their pets and animals from the frontline in the Donbas.

🙏FUEL IS OUR MAIN EXPENSE!
DONATIONS = FUEL = EVACUATIONS = LIVES!

‼️44% of 'failed' evacs are because people were not able to evacuate with their pets. WE CLOSE THIS GAP❗️

Our volunteers risk their lives daily to bring all to safety. We receive circa 50-80 requests for evacs daily. On an average week we evacuate 200+ lives in our vans + 4x4.

Kramatorsk is being evacuated daily, young, old, families, their animals, their households. These are multi-org operations, some taking the people, some taking the animals, some taking part of the household! One sole org cannot do all so that is why we have to work together and coordinate together.

Danny's report on a very full day's multi-org evacuation, including , and relocation of a family and literally all their animals - 12 dogs, 17 cats, 1 pigeon, 1 heavily pregnant cow, 5 goats, a lot of chickens, plus all their belongings, fencing materials, pens etc.
Result at 4am in the morning: one very happy, relieved family. Thanks Danny for being part of this and we wish you a safe journey home. Gandalf will now be put to use by / Aid Ukraine Evacs going forward.

Welcome to Ukraine Gandalf & Danny! Enjoy your overnight stay, then on to Kyiv, overnight stay in Dnipro, then heading eastwards to meet his es**rt!
Gandalf is getting closer to his destination where he'll be helping with the evacuation of locals and their animals, on behalf of Aid Ukraine Evacs working with locals for the locals, Druzi Space and others.
The only thing missing are sponsors to cover the daily fuel costs which we estimate will be at least about £1500 a month!
If you can support us with a regular monthly donation we, the local Ukrainians would appreciate that!
