We're getting ready to take on , and our very own Marie is putting her running shoes to good use!

From 24 October to 24 November, Marie will be running 24km every week, raising money to support the work of the Intensive Care Society.

📔JICS Education: our new series for learning in intensive care.

Our JICS Ed series brings regular, accessible educational articles to the Journal of the Intensive Care Society, supporting learning and professional development across the multidisciplinary community.

Following our first article on mechanical ventilation, the latest instalment explores continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).

Written by Neha N. Passi and Christopher J. Kirwan, the article takes a practical look at CRRT, including:

✅ When and how to initiate therapy
✅ Different CRRT modalities
✅ Prescribing and anticoagulation
✅ Vascular access and troubleshooting
✅ When and how to stop CRRT

Aligned with the FFICM curriculum, JICS Ed is designed to support both exam preparation and learning for clinical practice.
