ROSL is a Commonwealth membership organisation founded in 1910 to foster international understanding

The Royal Over-Seas League is dedicated to championing international friendship and understanding throughout the Commonwealth and beyond. A non-profit private members’ club, we’ve been bringing like-minded people together since our launch in 1910. Today, we offer our 16,000 members a warm welcome in our beautiful clubhouse in central London, over looking Green Park; and the chance to support all kinds of social, cultural and humanitarian activities around the world.

We are delighted to invite members on a Tour of Italy, an exceptional culinary experience curated by ROSL Senior Head Chef Vincenzo Vasca.

From the signature flavours of Lazio to the hearty dishes of Tuscany and Umbria, each course celebrates Italy’s regional heritage through authentic recipes and the finest seasonal ingredients, complemented by hand-picked w**es.

🎭 Grange Park Opera brings four worlds to the Royal Over-Seas League.

On 21 October, join us for an evening of opera and musical theatre in the Princess Alexandra Hall and experience the diverse theatrical worlds of Grange Park Opera’s 2027 Season.

The programme moves from the drama of "Die Walküre" to the passion of "Eugene Onegin", the wit of "L’elisir d’amore" and the thrilling world of "Sweeney Todd".

🎶 Live music returns to the 1910 Dining Room this autumn.

From 3 October, join us for Classical Guitar Nights with British guitarist Noah Layzell, whose repertoire spans baroque to contemporary music.

Then, from 17 October, Jazz Nights return with acclaimed pianist Bel Comeau performing jazz classics.

Let the live music lend a captivating ambience to your evening as you savour traditional British dishes such as Dover sole from our new à la carte menu, which celebrates the best of Britain’s regional kitchens.

🎹 Two pianists, two pianos and a programme built around musical conversation.

Hear Tessa Uys and Ben Schoeman as they return to the Princess Alexandra Hall stage at the Clubhouse on 29 September for a programme marking Mozart’s 270th anniversary.

The evening progresses from the theatricality of The Magic Flute and the lucid brilliance of the Sonata in D major to Schubert’s Fantasia in F minor, a work poised between lyrical tenderness and dramatic intensity.

This concert is kindly supported by the MMSoL Fund. A glass of w**e is included with each ticket.

Christmas returns to the clubhouse with three packages, a delicious Christmas Day lunch, a refined two-night retreat or an extended three-night stay.
