The Woodfield Pavilion

The Woodfield Pavilion The Woodfield Project is a charity that has transformed the Woodfield Pavilion from a decaying building to a beautiful community centre and hire space.

Discover the joy of play, explore your imagination and connect with like-minded people through creative expression.
New to the Woodfield Pavilion, step through the Portal to KAOKAO — a pilot creative play experience where imagination takes the lead.
Leave behind the seriousness of everyday life and reconnect with your inner child through playful exercises, storytelling, character creation and role play.
During this 90-minute journey, you'll explore creativity through your body, voice and imagination, meet like-minded people, and co-create spontaneous stories and adventures in a welcoming and supportive space. No acting experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play.
This is your chance to...
✨ Embody a queen, a pirate, a detective or a magical creature
✨ Declare your love... while playing a monkey
✨ Create a story that no one could have imagined alone
✨ Discover what happens when completely unexpected characters meet (imagine a fox investigating the disappearance of a human, with only an AI robot available to help)
✨ Walk the walk of shameless fame
Limited spaces available for this free taster session - See full details on our website or contact Sabrina StarWalker
