iversal language to inspire thought, foster dialogue, and ignite change. Gender-based violence and women’s representation are the unspoken crises of our society—looming large yet shrouded in silence. Despite the staggering statistics of women killed, teenagers struggling with body image, women r***d or abused, and the cascading effects on our communities, these issues remain taboo. Too uncomfortable, too confronting. But we must act now; this is an emergency, a pervasive form of terrorism that demands our immediate attention. Our collective unites a powerful community of women activist artists, public institutions, the general public and other key stakeholders to spark vital conversations and drive action toward gender equality through the transformative power of art. Join us for the first edition of SHEROES THURSDAYS 2026, where we open an essential conversation about one of the most invisible and misunderstood topics in women’s health: menopause.

THIS THURSDAY 7-8PM with Abigail Hammond!

Menopause affects all women and , yet it remains under-discussed, under-researched, and often misunderstood. Many of us move through this phase with limited information about its medical, emotional, and social impact. Through this talk, we aim to create a safe, inclusive space where experiences can be shared openly, using creativity as a powerful starting point for dialogue

Join our online talk "Seeing the Unseen" next Thursday, 11th December at 7PM!

As part of the 16 Days of Activism, we will explore how women have been represented in visual culture across centuries and how these images continue to shape the digital violence women experience today.

Through artworks, examples from visual history, and contemporary online behaviours, we will reveal the patterns of control, stereotyping, and silencing that still impact women’s lives.
