Please join us for a very special fundraising football tournament this October. Westminster businesses, youth clubs and local authority partners will go head to head in the hope of winning the Lord Mayor of Westminster’s Charity Cup.

We’re planning a fun day to enjoy sporting competition and connect with the Westminster community. This event will also generate much needed funds to support children and young people in Westminster.

The team entry fee is £2,000, and we’re looking for teams of seven players. Any and all genders are welcome to participate.

If you’d like to take part please get in touch - thank you for your support! Westminster City Council | London Young Westminster Foundation London Football

We are incredibly proud of Valdas Dambrauskas and his outstanding achievements. What a wonderful journey it has been!

Valdas’ journey began with London Tigers, first as a volunteer and coach of our Under-18 team. He then progressed to become our full-time Sports Development Manager and Head Coach of the London Tigers semi-professional football team in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division from 2007 to 2010.

This Thursday, Valdas will lead Sabah FC from Azerbaijan at the iconic Old Trafford Stadium, taking on Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League.

Even more special for us is that he will be assisted by former London Tigers senior coaches Eddie Cardoso Giorgi Minashvili and Justinas Gasiunas as they prepare to face one of the biggest clubs in Premier League football.

From London Tigers to the Champions League and Old Trafford what an incredible journey!

Well done, Valdas! Your hard work, commitment, passion and dedication have truly paid off. We are extremely proud of you and wish you, Eddie, Giorgi, Justinas and the whole Sabah FC team the very best for Thursday.

Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!

Lithuanian coach Valdas Dambrauskas cut his teeth in English football, and now returns in the Champions League with Sabah.
