OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation An interfaith educational charity rooted in post-Holocaust hope, cultivating compassion, inclusion, and peace.

Through training and community, we support spiritual leaders and changemakers to serve people and planet with care. 🌍🤍 For nearly 30 years, OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation has been a home for spiritual learning, growth, and service. We bring together people from many paths and traditions to explore what it means to live with awareness, compassion, and purpose. Our two-year Spiritual Development and Ministry Training lies at the heart of what we do, alongside a range of courses, workshops, and retreats that nurture both spiritual depth and real-world understanding. We are a thriving community of ministers, tutors, students, and seekers who share a commitment to inclusivity, transformation, and service to the world. Through ceremony, education, healing, and creativity, our work continues to honour the many ways people seek meaning and connection.

Some of the oldest places of worship in the UK have windows not much wider than a hand. The walls were thick and the builders couldn't risk cutting bigger openings. Inside, the light is thin, and you can watch it move across the stone as the day goes on.

People prayed in those buildings for hundreds of years. They didn't need much light to do it. What's keeping you going at the moment, even if it's small?

Thank you, Rev. Monica Douglas. 💖

For the past three years, Monica has been a Group Tutor with OneSpirit, working alongside students in the second year of their training through some of its most formative moments. She brought more than 25 years of spiritual practice, healing work and facilitation into that room, along with her own interspiritual path and African Caribbean heritage. Alongside her tutoring, she is a Spiritual Companion and the founder of The Wild Wisdom Oracle.

As one of her students put it: "It looked as though the role fit her like a glove."

Monica isn't going far. She is moving into a new role within our Accredited Supervisors network, where she'll be leading a new supervision project for the community.

We have been lucky to have her as a tutor, and we're glad she's staying close. Thank you, Monica.

Applications for the Class of 2028 have now closed... ✨

Thank you to everyone who applied, and to everyone who came to an intro day, sent us a question, or spent time working out whether this was the right moment. That discernment is part of the work, whatever you decide.

To those starting with us: we can't wait to meet you properly. You're joining a community of students, tutors and ministers from many traditions and none, and it will be all the richer for having you in it.

If the timing wasn't right this year, we'll still be here. Applications for the next intake will open next year, and you can keep up to date through the website, linked in our bio.

Every tradition keeps its wisdom somewhere like this. Waiting on a shelf, in the quiet, for someone to come looking.

We don't ask you to choose one. We ask you to keep climbing the stairs.

What are you still looking for?

Communication is a spiritual practice, right alongside prayer and meditation. It runs through everything we teach.

Martin Buber said it best. You can meet someone as a problem to solve, or as a person you'll never fully understand. The real meeting happens in the space between.

It's not a tool you pick up. It's water you learn to swim in.

In October 1996, a small group gathered in London to begin the UK's first training in interfaith ministry. Two years later, they became the country's first interfaith ministers.

Almost thirty years on, that same training is still running. It's grown into a community of over a thousand ministers, tutors, students and seekers.

People tell us afterwards that the hardest part was never the training. It was deciding they were allowed to do it.

If you've been thinking about joining us, you'd be joining something with real roots. Willow online, Sylvan on retreat at Florence House. Seven days left to apply for the Class of 2028, closing midnight on 30 September.

Full details and how to apply are on our website!
