This award supports ISTD members delivering innovative projects that break down barriers to participation, reach new communities and create meaningful opportunities through dance.

For 2026/27, up to two awards of £2,000 are available to help bring inspiring community projects to life.

From ISTD student to West End swing, Evonnee Bentley-Holder knows first-hand how dance exams help build skills that last a lifetime.

Now appearing in The Devil Wears Prada at London's Dominion Theatre, Evonnee credits ISTD training with teaching her discipline, resilience, confidence and the ability to perform under pressure, qualities that continue to support her career on and off the stage.

As Senior Class Teacher at the 2026 Janet Cram Awards, she's now passing those same lessons on to the next generation.
