Yesterday - to mark - I spoke to the inspiring Ashraf Mashharawi, Director of the Palestinian Journalists’ Protection Center.

Earlier this month, the partnered with the Palestinian Journalists Protection Center (PJPC), providing laptops for freelancers working from its Gaza Media Hub. Helping journalists who have lost so much to continue their work. And ensuring the rest of us know what is happening there.

Our conversation was the first in a series we’re calling Frontline Voices and despite the devastation and terrible loss of the past three years, Ashraf’s tenacity and optimism for the future are extraordinary.
