Short research survey, open to all, if you can spare a few minutes to contribute and/or share...

Sophia is undertaking a PhD funded by Breast Cancer Now to explore how breast milk could be used as a tool in breast cancer research.

As part of her research she is investigating what the UK general public, parents and healthcare professionals know about breastfeeding and breast cancer risk and how they feel that information should be communicated so that it is informative but nuanced and sensitive.

She is also what people think about using breastmilk to understand lactation and breast cancer biology.

We are interested in everyone's views on this. Our only inclusion criteria are:

- Aged 18+
- Live in the UK.

So whether you have had a baby or not, breastfed or not, know anything about breast cancer or breast milk or not, regardless of s*x, gender, age, or life experience, we would be very grateful if you have 10 - 15 minutes to help Sophia.

We would also welcome any shares of this post to get it as far as possible.

A reminder that our drop-in group at New River Green will be closed this bank holiday Monday 25th May. Our next drop-in group will be Tuesday 26th May at Bemerton Children's Centre. The National Breastfeeding Helpline will be running throughout the weekend and on Monday, you can reach them on 0300 100 0212. We look forward to welcoming you all back to our groups from Tuesday.
