Celebrating Trustees’ Week at Pan Intercultural Arts💛

This week, we’re joining charities across the UK in celebrating Trustees’ Week! This is a moment to recognise the nearly one million people who give their time and expertise to help organisations like ours thrive.

At Pan Intercultural Arts, our trustees share their insight and commitment to help us create spaces where creativity empowers. Our participants are able to shape their futures through the arts.

We’re especially proud to celebrate two of our trustees; Adam Bray and Lloyd Goldby, whose dedication have played an instrumental role in helping us secure Pan’s new home. Their guidance has been invaluable as we prepare to move into a space that will allow our programmes, artists and participants to flourish for years to come.

To all of our trustees, thank you. From financial insight to artistic advocacy, from strategy to safeguarding, each of you brings something essential to the Pan family. Your belief in us and the power of creativity for social change - makes everything possible.

As we look ahead to an exciting new chapter in our new building, we do so with immense gratitude for the people behind the scenes. Here’s to you - our trustees!

At Pan, we celebrate every step, every achievement, and every moment of growth. As part of our Arts for Survivors of Trafficking programme, The Amies Freedom Choir meet weekly to bring together participants to sing together in a joyful and supportive space.

Amies aim to develop the musical and cultural awareness of young women who have survived trafficking by exploring songs and musical styles from each others' cultures and languages. Each year the Amies choir projects support 40-60 women.

The Amies Freedom Choir has gained world-wide recognition, been nominated for the Human Trafficking Foundation award in 2022 and won the Women of the Year award 2020 for community spirit and the Youth Music Social Action Award in 2023.
