📅 Fixed term: 18 months
📍 Hybrid working, based in Pembrokeshire with occasional UK travel
⌛ Full-time (35 hours per week)

As Marine Project Manager, you will lead delivery of our pioneering marine project to explore how nature and communities can be supported through integrated land and sea planning and management.

Hosted by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, the role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of one of the UK’s most distinctive coastal and marine environments.

Some good National Parks news this 🐝

More than 100 hectares – or 4,000 tennis courts – of lush wildflower habitat are being created in the South Downs National Park to help bees flourish.

Thanks to the Bee Lines initiative, new wildlife havens have been created at farms, community fields, recreation grounds, road verges, schools, and even cemeteries, football and golf clubs.

With a third of wild bee species decreased since the 1980s, National Parks play a vital role in landscape scale nature recovery, supporting our native pollinating insect species 🌼

Buses are a great way to see and explore National Parks 🚌

They help reduce the number of cars on the road meaning less congestion, pollution and less pressure for car parking in popular sites.

Thanks to The Naturesave Trust, Dartmoor Preservation Association and Exmoor Society we've been able to collect and highlight information about bus routes in Exmoor and Dartmoor.

It’s clear that bus services are limited in many parts of the National Parks on Sundays.

While it’s important we make the most of the buses we have, we want to see significant improvements for Sunday bus services in National Parks.
