We hosted the amazing students from Barking & Dagenham College for a special community presentation, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! 🙌

At the Wellbeing Group, we believe in giving our young people real opportunities to interact with a live audience, grow their confidence, and step into their potential. Seeing them stand up so proudly and share their knowledge with the elderly members of our community was truly heartwarming.

A massive shoutout to the IT team, you all tried your absolute best and did a phenomenal job! 💻⭐

We are so grateful for our brilliant collaboration with Barking & Dagenham College . Working together allows us to empower these young people to shape a brighter future and become the best versions of themselves.

What an empowering session at our Good Living Workshop! 🌿✨

Bringing our community together to focus on health, raise awareness, and build genuine connections is what true wellbeing is all about. A huge thank you to our incredible facilitators, who brought over 35 years of industry experience to guide us on how to fuel our bodies from the inside out.

Workshops like this prove that when we share practical knowledge and support one another, we empower our entire community to thrive.
Here are a few highlights from our session today! 📸

"Your Health. Your Responsibility. Your Power." 💚

When you educate a community, you empower an entire neighbourhood! 🎓✨

A massive congratulations to all our wonderful local residents who successfully completed their accredited Food Hygiene and Safety Level 2 training! Seeing the pride in the room as everyone held up their certificates was truly heartwarming.

This training was specially delivered to equip and upskill our local residents so they can confidently and safely take part in our upcoming multicultural "Bring and Share Dish" celebration for Black History Month, proudly hosted by On The Rock International Ministries

By removing barriers and providing accredited training, we ensure our community cooks are certified, compliant, and empowered with skills they can keep for life!

A heartfelt thank you to the brilliant Asma Haq from The Relief Project for facilitating such an engaging, accessible, and supportive session. We made sure to show our deep appreciation with some well-deserved flowers and treats! 💐🍫
Thank you to our dedicated team, partners, and every resident who invested their time today. We cannot wait to taste the incredible dishes and celebrate our diverse cultures together! 🌍🍲🎉

What a fantastic afternoon we had at Dagenham Library for our Repair & Revamp Café! 🛠️🧵✨

Our Church Elm Hub Wellbeing Group came together with local residents to celebrate International Repair Day. From mending textiles and learning practical fixing skills to troubleshooting everyday items, it was inspiring to see our community take positive action against waste!

Every item repaired is one less thing in the landfill, proving that small, local steps can create a big environmental impact. 🌱💚

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteer engineers and assistants for sharing their time and technical know-how, to everyone who brought items along, and to the Recycle for Your Community (ELWA) for supporting this community initiative through the Repair Day Micro-Grant!

Stay tuned for our upcoming sessions and community workshops at the Church Elm Hub. Let’s keep fixing, sharing, and growing together! 🤝✨

We have some incredible news to celebrate! The work happening right here at our hub is officially crossing borders and making waves!💫

We are so honored to be featured on the front page cover of Keniston Housing Association’s Summer newsletter, Talkback, down in the borough of Southwark!

What started as a humble gathering in our neighborhood has grown into a powerful movement of hope, connection, and mental health support. People outside our borough are taking notice, spreading the word, and looking to our community as an example of genuine healing, love, and unity.

While my own journey is highlighted, the true heart and weight of this story belongs to every single person who took part in this journey. Just look at those group photos on page one, the energy, warmth, and togetherness of our participants are what make this hub so special!

This is truly a testament to what happens when a community comes together in faith and love. As 1 Corinthians 1:27 reminds us, "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise."
Thank you to everyone who supports our wellbeing family.

🌟This win belongs to God and to every single person who made it possible! 💙🎉
