Havering's Best Start in Life Plan 2026-29 - Consultation - Survey for Local Services

Havering has published the draft Best Start in Life Plan 2026–29 and is seeking feedback from early years providers, schools, health partners and community organisations.
Your views will help finalise the plan and strengthen a joined up early years offer for families.

The Autism Ambassadors were invited to deliver their CPD-accredited training to staff and employers from Work Redbridge, the London Borough of Redbridge’s employment project, on Monday 26th January at the City Gates Centre in Ilford.

The assorted employers and London Borough of Redbridge staff thoroughly enjoyed the training, which was reflected in the excellent feedback the Ambassadors received.

Are you joining us for our annual sponsored walk next month? We're raising money during with our walk which takes place on Weds 25th March, and, as we did last year, we'll be basing our 10km walk around Raphael Park in Romford.
It's all part of our efforts for Autism Acceptance Week, building up to our day on Friday 27th March. We're hoping to raise funds for the Sycamore Trust and highlight awareness and empathy of autism at the same time. The walk starts at 10.00am and we should be finished around 2pm.
