The UP Garden is a formerly abandoned laundry yard in an East London council estate, reclaimed by local residents and transformed into a free-to-access upcycled community space open every day, all day, for all. It is a place for inter-generational and inter-cultural socialisation, where everyone can engage with urban nature. Within its first year, it won The RHS' and the BBC's Growing Together awa

rd for community gardening, and was featured twice on The ONE Show.

We will be closed this Tuesday & Wednesday to undertake some maintenance to keep The UP Garden safe & welcoming for you all! We'll be back open as usual (9am-6pm-ish daily) from Thursday 14 May.

That also means no Social Weedia this week, but back next week (Wednesday 20 May).
