The UP Garden is a formerly abandoned laundry yard in an East London council estate, reclaimed by local residents and transformed into a free-to-access upcycled community space open every day, all day, for all. It is a place for inter-generational and inter-cultural socialisation, where everyone can engage with urban nature. Within its first year, it won The RHS' and the BBC's Growing Together awa

Just fill up a bottle/flask before you leave home/work/cafe/etc & water the roots, not the leaves.

Ideally mornings/evenings (open 9am-6pm) but anytime will do. 🫶🏽

Mega thanks to who offered their van & muscles to dispose of the pallet tower we were left with after our donated upcycled sofa finally gave up the ghost, meaning we didn't have to dip into our precious reserves!
