You could get £150 off your electricity bill this winter through the Warm Home Discount.

If you receive means‑tested benefits, make sure your name is on your electricity bill by 23 August so the discount is applied automatically.

This includes people on Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Pension Credit, Income‑related ESA and other qualifying benefits. If you’ve recently moved or use a key/card prepayment meter, it’s worth checking your account details.

If you’re eligible for the £150 Warm Home Discount, it’s worth contacting your energy supplier

When you call, ask them to check:

Your full name is correctly listed as the bill payer (or joint bill payer if appropriate).
Your address is correct.
If you use a prepayment meter, that it is registered in your name.
Whether they expect you to receive the Warm Home Discount automatically, or whether you need to do anything further

If you’ve recently moved house, switched supplier, changed the name on the account, or think the bill may still be in someone else’s name, it’s especially important to call, as these are situations where people could miss out if the records aren’t correct by the deadline.

💜 Community Advice - Drop-ins: Thank you, Oak Farm Library! 💜

A huge thank you to Oak Farm Library for hosting us yesterday! You welcomed us with open arms (and tea, coffee & snacks 😄), gave us space to talk with people privately, and made the whole day feel easy and supported. We're so grateful.

It was a busy one — we spoke with lots of people, helped with everything from general enquiries to booking appointments on the spot, and it was great to see how much people value having face-to-face support right in their community.

We'd also like to thank the for supporting this work and helping us reach and support our community and most importantly thank you to our dedicated volunteers for supporting on the day💜
