Hoje, 8 de março, celebramos o Dia Internacional das Mulheres, uma data que nos convida a reconhecer as conquistas alcançadas, refletir sobre os desafios que ainda persistem e reafirmar o compromisso com a igualdade de direitos e oportunidades. 💜
Mais do que uma celebração, este é também um momento de memória, de resistência e de ação coletiva para continuar construindo uma sociedade mais justa, onde todas as mulheres possam viver com dignidade, respeito e autonomia.



Today, 8 March, we mark International Women’s Day, a moment to recognise the achievements made, reflect on the challenges that still remain, and reaffirm our commitment to equality in rights and opportunities. 💜
More than a celebration, it is also a time for memory, resistance, and collective action to continue building a more just society, where all women can live with dignity, respect, and autonomy.

✔️ Acesso a serviços públicos

As we conclude the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and mark Human Rights Day, Respeito is honoured to share reflections from the men who joined our conversation on the UNID@S 2025 event, on 28 November, to speak openly about violence against women and girls (VAWG), masculinity, accountability, and change.
Engaging men is essential in building safer communities — and the voices shared during the event offered powerful reminders of where transformation begins.
These reflections remind us that prevention is a collective journey — and that men have a crucial role to play as allies, upstanders, and advocates for equality.
Thank you to all participants for your honesty, courage, and commitment to change.
Let’s keep the conversation going — not only during these 16 days, but every day.

Ao concluirmos os 16 Dias de Ativismo pelo Fim da Violência Baseada no Género e assinalarmos o Dia dos Direitos Humanos, a Respeito tem a honra de partilhar reflexões dos homens que participaram no nossa evento UNID@S 2025, em 28 de novembro, onde falaram abertamente sobre violência contra mulheres (VAWG), masculinidade, responsabilidade e mudança.
Envolver os homens é essencial para construir comunidades mais seguras — e as vozes ouvidas no evento lembram-nos de forma poderosa onde começa a transformação.
Estas reflexões reforçam que a prevenção é uma jornada coletiva — e que os homens têm um papel crucial como aliados, agentes de intervenção e defensores da igualdade.

UNID@S 2025 was simply beautiful! ✨

For the 4th consecutive year, UNID@S was part of the of activism and brought our community together in an event filled with thoughtful talking, active listening, and powerful reflections on the theme “men” - their role, their alliances, and their responsibility in building safer and more respectful communities.
