As St Monica’s is a voluntary aided school, funding by the State is very restricted so additional funding for the school raised

through events and initiatives provided by The Friends of St Monica’s is paramount to it’s continued success.

As MonicaFest gets ever closer, we wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who’s helped make this year’s fete possible. To all our parents, carers, volunteers, teachers, and support staff who have given their time, donations and endless enthusiasm – we’re so grateful. 💙

✨ MONICAFEST 2026 IS ALMOST HERE! ✨

After months of planning, creating, collecting, organising and (quite a lot of!) behind-the-scenes teamwork, we’re so excited to finally share this year’s MonicaFest e-brochure with you.

A huge thank you to Allan at Blok Graphic Allan Sommerville for bringing our vision to life so brilliantly. From transforming our wonderful front and back cover artwork, designed by our talented St Monica’s children, into this fantastic brochure, to giving the whole thing such a vibrant festival feel – we couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Allan! 💙

Inside you’ll find everything you need to know about Saturday:

🎶 Live performances from our amazing Children’s Choir, Centre Stage, R Voices and Carly McCarron

🍔 BBQ, pizzas, cakes, tea & coffee, waffles, ice creams and a fully stocked bar

Most importantly, this year’s MonicaFest marks the final event for our current Friends of St Monica’s committee. It’s been an incredible three-year journey and an absolute privilege to help raise funds, create memories and support our wonderful school community.

We’d love nothing more than to see the school buzzing with families, friends, neighbours and past (and present!) pupils as we celebrate together one last time.

So grab your picnic blanket, sun cream, a camping chair if you wish! Bring the family, invite your neighbours and join us for an afternoon full of music, laughter, food, community and festival fun.

We were absolutely blown away by the creativity, colour and imagination shown in this year’s entries. A massive well done to every child who took part – you made Mrs. Baptiste’s job of choosing the winners incredibly difficult!
