Skål International United Kingdom is the only global organisation that brings together all sectors of the Travel Tourism and Hospitality industries.

Connecting Travel and Tourism Professionals all around the World. Skål International is a professional organisation of Tourism leaders around the world, promoting global Tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and Tourism industry. Its members, the industry's managers and executives, meet at local, national, regional and international levels to

discuss and pursue topics of common interest. The first club was founded in 1932 in Paris by travel managers, following an educational tour of Scandinavia. The idea of international goodwill and friendship grew and, in 1934, the “Association Internationale des Skål Clubs” was formed with Florimond Volckaert as its first President, who is considered the “Father of Skål”. Skål International today has almost 14,000 members in more than 350 clubs throughout 100 nations. Most activities occur at local level, moving up through National Committees, under the umbrella of Skål International, headquartered at the General Secretariat in Málaga, Spain. Skål International is governed by an Executive Committee of six members, elected by delegates to an annual General Assembly, held during the World Congress, hosted by a different country each year. This allows members first-hand observation of the travel and tourism potential around the world.

Counting down to our momentous 90th Anniversary celebration within the historic setting of the Reform Club including an incredible line up of speakers and special guests.

The evening will feature Tracy Edwards MBE, skipper of Maiden and trailblazer for women in sailing, alongside Captain Wendy Thornton Clark, one of the first female British Airways pilots, and Fred Finn, the world’s most travelled man. Their stories of courage, adventure, and discovery promise to make it an unforgettable night.

💧 Guests will also have the chance to support Just a Drop through a raffle, helping us bring safe water, sanitation, and hygiene to communities around the world.

We are delighted to support such an incredible charity as Just a Drop and the prizes you may win in the charity raffle range from a signed DVD by Sir Michael Palin to a city break in Istanbul and more.

We are about to celebrate 90 remarkable years of friendship, tourism, and global connection at Skål International London within the special setting of the historic Reform Club.
It is our honour to extend to you this invitation to join us in celebration.

Our 90th Anniversary Gala on 31 October 2025 will be a celebration of our legacy, with a special focus on giving back — proudly supporting Just a Drop charity to help bring safe water, sanitation and hygiene to those in need, including highlights with our very special guests, including Ms Tracy Edwards MBE, legendary yachtswoman and skipper, sharing her adventures with us.
