"I'll spend hours sitting in the support vehicle waiting for my turn."
That was exactly what Neo Combarro from TALOS expected before taking on the Extra Mile Challenge 2025 for the first time.

The reality? "The car was almost as much fun as the bike. It was full throttle from start to finish. Zero dull moments."

The relay format means everyone has a role. While one rider is on the road, teammates are navigating, planning changeovers, cheering each other on and keeping the whole team moving. The support vehicle is part of the adventure.

A typical day on Explore:

🌅 7.00am – Breakfast followed by briefing from Event Director Meg
🚴 9.00am – Riding through incredible scenery

🍝 1.00pm – Lunch together

"What an incredible way to connect with so many industry peers and form new friendships."

🚲 The first of Explore 2025's infusion trikes have arrived in the UK.

Thanks to the incredible fundraising efforts of last year's Explore riders, children undergoing cancer treatment will be able to stay active while receiving IV therapy – bringing more freedom, fun, and independence to long days in hospital.

The first trike has now been delivered to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge by our charity partner Cyclists Fighting Cancer, with more deliveries to follow. This is the impact of every mile ridden. 💙

Congratulations to the riders of 2026 - more than £34,000 raised for our charity beneficiary Coram and its adoption services, supporting prospective adopters before, during and after the adoption process. Here are some of the ways in which the funds raised will make a difference:
❤️ £6,000 could deliver 1 Adoption Activity Day, where more than 35 children will meet with prospective parents
❤️ £400 could deliver 4 adoption workshops to enhance prospective adoptive families’ confidence and skills
❤️ £300 could contribute towards the cost of 30 children attending a monthly ‘stay & play’ session while family therapists provide support to parents
❤️ £150 could help towards the costs of 8 young people attending an adoptees’ support group to understand their life story.
