Brothers and Sisters of Mading Aweil,

We respectfully call upon all sons and daughters of Aweil to unfollow Akuac Wol on all social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and others.

As Aweilians, we are known for our values of peace, unity, respect, kindness, and love. We choose to support voices that promote harmony, understanding, development, and happiness among our people. The messages we follow shape our thinking, our character, and the future of our community.

Let us continue to stand together and invest our attention in individuals who inspire unity rather than division, and who encourage progress rather than conflict. By doing so, we strengthen the spirit that has always made Aweil proud and respected.

I trust that the sons and daughters of Aweil will make their own wise decisions and continue to uphold the values that define us. Together, let us close the door to negativity and keep our focus on building a stronger, more united community for future generations.

Long live the spirit of peace, unity, and respect among the people of Aweil.

Brothers and sisters of Aweil,

We are a people known for kindness, peace, unity, and deep respect for our elders and for every community around us. That is the identity of Aweil, and we must continue to protect it with pride and wisdom.

If our father and man of God, Ambassador Garang Deng Aguer, has called on us not to respond to the insults and disrespect directed at the great community of Aweil by Akuac Wol, then we must honor and respect his guidance. True strength is shown through discipline, respect, and wisdom, not through anger or revenge.

Therefore, I humbly urge all sons and daughters of Mading Aweil not to raise this issue again. Let us move forward with dignity and maturity, and let us continue to be an example of respect and obedience to our elders.

I strongly believe that the people of Aweil are known for their good hearts, patience, and unity. Many people may try to gain attention and fame by insulting Aweil, but we will defeat negativity through silence, wisdom, and good character.

Let us remain proud of who we are. Let us protect the name and dignity of Aweil with peace, respect, and unity.

Brothers and sisters, the most painful thing is to see someone, especially a young girl, insulting and abusing our respected father, Ambassador Garang Deng Aguer. đź’”

This is deeply heartbreaking because he is a man many of us have respected and honored for years. Disrespecting elders and leaders in such a way brings sadness to our hearts and damages our unity as a community.

To anyone involving herself in such behavior, remember that God is watching everything we do and every word we speak.

And to my brothers and sisters, I humbly request you not to respond with insults or dirty words. If we lower ourselves to the same behavior, we only simplify and weaken ourselves before others. Let us remain respectful, united, and mature no matter how painful the situation becomes.

Brothers and sisters of Aweil, we are known for peace, respect, unity, and love among our people. Anyone can insult an individual son or daughter of Aweil, but insulting Aweil as a community is something we cannot accept or ignore. Whoever insults Aweil must be ready to face legal action and answer before the court of law.

At the same time, I urge all brothers and sisters not to lower themselves into dirty arguments and useless insults like what Akuac Wol is doing. No one should respond to her in the same manner. When a dog barks at people it does not know, wise people do not stop to bark back.

However, the issue of insulting Aweil is serious. We will nominate a responsible team to follow up on this matter and take the necessary legal steps concerning the young girl who insulted Aweil.

Aweil will always stand with dignity, pride, and unity. No one can bring down the name of Aweil with cheap words.

Aweil is home to peaceful and welcoming people. Imagine a young artist from Abyei traveling to Aweil to perform songs, and in return being rewarded with 30 cows. That alone reflects the kindness, love, unity, and generosity that the people of Aweil are known for.

Now is the time for us to build ourselves through stronger connections, support one another, and continue promoting peace, unity, and development among our communities.

To our youngest sisters of Aweil,

Please remember the values and dignity that our culture has always protected for generations. It is painful to see some young girls being encouraged to expose themselves publicly in the name of fame or money. Wealth and popularity should never come before self-respect, cultural identity, and moral values.

Many of our grandparents and ancestors lived with honor and dignity even during difficult times. They believed that respect is more valuable than money. Fame that requires a person to abandon their principles is not something to admire.

Using public figures like Anok Yai as examples, some people celebrate lifestyles that may not reflect the traditions and values of our community. Every person is free to make their own choices, but it is also important for us to protect the identity and dignity of our culture.

Being poor with dignity is better than gaining money in ways that bring shame, regret, or loss of self-respect. Young women should focus on education, talent, business, leadership, and other paths that build a strong future without compromising their values.

Let us encourage our daughters and sisters to become respected women who inspire society through wisdom, character, and achievement.

Brothers and sisters of Aweil,

We all know the secret behind our peace, love, and unity. We do not allow others to divide us, weaken us, or push us into hatred. We have always closed the door to conflict among ourselves, and that is why the entire South Sudan respects the people of Aw and eil.

We are known as peaceful people. Socially, we do not look down on anyone, whether rich or poor. We respect every person as a human being equal to us.

Today, I want to request all of you not to involve yourselves in the dirty politics happening in the country. We have already sacrificed too much. Millions of our people from Aweil lost their lives during the wars not just to prove strength, but because they fought for the country and for the people of South Sudan.

Our people died in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Malakal, Yambio, and in every corner of South Sudan. Their sacrifices should remind us of the value of peace and unity.

Now, it is enough. We have already fought enough wars. This is the time for business, education, hard work, building connections, and creating opportunities for our people. We already know our mission and our vision for the future.

Let us stay united, protect our peace, and focus on building a better future for the next generation.

Urgent Concern from Aweil State

It is deeply heartbreaking to witness reports of more than 245 children allegedly being kidnapped in Aweil State. This situation has created fear, pain, and confusion among families and communities. Children are innocent and deserve safety, protection, education, and peace not fear and separation from their families.

We call upon the authorities, community leaders, humanitarian organizations, and all concerned citizens to take this matter seriously and act quickly to investigate, protect the affected children, and support the families involved.

As people of Aweil, both at home and in the diaspora, this is a moment to stand together, raise awareness responsibly, and support every effort that promotes peace, security, and the protection of our children.

Our prayers are with the families and communities affected. May peace, justice, and safety return to Aweil State.

Brothers and sisters of Aweil,

My heart is deeply broken when I travel through different countries and see the sons and daughters of Aweil dividing themselves by clans Abiem Tueng, Abiem Cien, Korok Achien, Makuac Athian, Wun Anei, and many others. These divisions should stop at home and must never follow us abroad. Wherever we are in the world, we are one people and one family.

Whether you are in Egypt, Libya, Dubai, Europe, America, or anywhere else, remember that you are first an Aweilian before anything else. We need unity, not separation. We need one strong voice and leadership to represent Aweil people in every country where our people live.

It pains me when I see some Aweilians turning against their own brothers through stealing, robbery, violence, and hatred. Sometimes I ask myself with tears, “How can one family destroy itself like this?” The main cause of all this is lack of unity, support, and connection among ourselves.

Today, I am calling upon every son and daughter of Aweil to wake up and reconnect with your fellow Aweilians. Let us build strong networks everywhere we are. Let us help each other with job opportunities, scholarships, education, business connections, and support for those struggling abroad.

Our motto should be:
“Connecting Aweilians around the world for a better future.”

Let us make Aweil known in every corner of the world through education, unity, respect, success, and love for one another not through division and conflict.

A united people are always stronger.
The future of Aweil depends on us.

Brothers and sisters of Aweil, see what our father Amb Garang Deng Aguer did. He is the source of wisdom and knowledge in Aweil, a man who nurtured us with love, peace, and unity.

When the government arrested the villagers who went to Jebel Iraq because of hostility, Amb Garang Deng Aguer followed the law with patience and wisdom until those villagers were released. That is the true spirit of Aweil peace, unity, and standing for our people in the right way.

I am requesting every son and daughter of Aweil, wherever you are, to respect Amb Garang Deng Aguer and continue praying for him because he has shown us the right direction. We, the people of Aweil, are known for peace, love, and unity.

We do not accept anyone insulting our homeland Aweil because Aweil is precious to us. It is the land that raised us, fed us, and made us who we are today.

May God continue to bless and protect Amb Garang Deng Aguer and the people of Aweil.
