Action West London is an expanding West London charity, Limited Company, and social enterprise. Key Objectives are to:

1.Help disadvantaged, unemployed individuals secure Employment.

2.Help disadvantaged individuals improve their Education and Training.

3.Help individuals set up in self-employment, social enterprise, and business. . Action West London currently employs 20 staff and 5 voluntee

rs and provides a range of services to help people in need - particularly disadvantaged, unemployed individuals. Action West London works in Partnership with other charities and organisations, local authorities and public and private sector bodies. Action West London works in the Boroughs of Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, and Barnet. Action West London was established originally as Action Acton in 1998 and changed its name to Action West London in July 2015. In the past 15 years it has successfully delivered a wide range of projects, funded by many different organisations and helping 1000’s of West London people improve their lives through accessing opportunities for Employment, Education, and Enterprise. ⚡ Meet Mandy! ⚡

Mandy attended our Women-Only Electrical Fixing Workshop back in April, where we provided women across West London with a welcoming space to learn how to fix small electronics and explore potential new career paths. 🛠️✨

Since Mandy completed the workshop, the training has grown into an officially accredited Level 1 course! We’re excited to host our next accredited cohorts in Harrow this September:

We are bringing 6 weeks of 100% FREE fitness classes for women to the heart of Acton, starting the week of 14th September.

Over the last year, we’ve loved hosting:

• Pelvic Floor Recovery & Holistic Core Restore
• Street Dance
• Older Adults Fitness
• Relax & Stretch
• Dance Fitness
• Yoga

Today is International Youth Day, but finding a job or training spot isn't always easy.

If you are aged 16–24, live in Ealing, and aren't in education, employment, or training, you don't have to struggle through it alone.

Want to learn a useful practical skill? ⚡🔧

Meet Nick, who runs our Level 1 Small Electrical Appliance Safety and Repair course. Nick got into fixing things years ago and turned his interest in hands-on work into a proper trade.

In this course, he will teach you the basics of electrical safety, how to test simple circuits, and how to find faults in everyday household appliances. It is designed for complete beginners—whether you want to start a career in repair work or just learn handy skills for everyday life.
