We are a Christian organisation that exists to transform trauma into triumph for some of the world’s most abused, marginalised and vulnerable children, of all faiths and none. We are part of the global Kids Alive family and we're privileged to see children with deep traumas being healed and restored to wholeness; children being reunited into family; communities and even nations influenced by God's kingdom values.

Fun and positive experiences provide valuable opportunities for Kids Alive Kenya mentors to connect with children and build lasting, trusting relationships. 💙

Through these relationships, mentors support children as they grow in confidence, develop important life skills and prepare for a brighter future.

Breaking the cycle of poverty and abuse starts with giving children the care, support and opportunities they deserve.

Kids Alive Kenya is committed to this journey through its Hope Centres in Nairobi, Nyeri and Kisii.

Over two days, the Kids Alive team in Guatemala recently came together for its first prayer retreat — a special time to rest, reconnect with God and refocus. 🙏

The retreat provided a valuable opportunity for the team to reflect, pray together and return refreshed and encouraged for the work ahead.

Seeing the girls and boys laugh, choose their favourite movie and sit excitedly in the cinema was a priceless experience. ❤️

Recently, the girls, boys and teenagers from the Kids Alive Residential Care Centre in Lima, Peru enjoyed a special trip to the cinema to watch a movie together. Although it may seem like a simple outing, for them it was a meaningful opportunity to have fun, make memories and simply enjoy being children and teenagers.

They laughed, chatted about the movie and left the cinema with hearts full of excitement and joy. Moments like these are a wonderful reminder of why this work matters so much.

At Kids Alive, comprehensive care goes far beyond providing a safe place to live. Creating opportunities for children and young people to enjoy activities outside the centre, build relationships and experience new things is an important part of their growth and development.

Kids Alive wants every child in its care to have the happy, enriching experiences that are such an important part of childhood and adolescence — because every child deserves the opportunity to simply be a child.

🙌 Praise Report | Kenya
More children. More hope. More lives hearing the Gospel.
Last month, we had an incredible turnout at Nyamarambe Hope Centre's Vacation Bible School, where 283 children from the surrounding community gathered to learn, play, and experience the love of Christ—far surpassing the 40 children originally expected!
Through Bible lessons, worship, art, games, and caring relationships, children were reminded that they are known by name, deeply loved by God, and created with purpose. Alongside the fun, the Kids Alive Kenya team created a safe, nurturing environment where children could build trusting relationships, experience consistent care, and encounter the hope of the Gospel.
Please pray that the seeds God planted in these children's hearts will continue to be nurtured through ongoing discipleship with Kids Alive Kenya and local churches, so each child can continue growing in a life-changing relationship with Christ.

💙 A Big Step for Children in Peru 💙

Kids Alive Peru has taken an important step in strengthening support for vulnerable children and families through a new inter-institutional cooperation agreement with Aldeas Infantiles SOS Perú, an organisation that shares its commitment to protecting and caring for children.
This partnership will help strengthen responses to situations of violence, abuse and neglect through initiatives focused on:
✅ Child protection
✅ Alternative care
✅ Restoration of rights
✅ Family and community strengthening
✅ Youth development
✅ Legal and judicial support
By working together, Kids Alive Peru and Aldeas Infantiles SOS Perú are helping to restore rights and create brighter futures for children, young people and their families.

⭐️ Bible Day Highlights ⭐️
Last month, children and staff at Kids Alive Lebanon celebrated Bible Day with faith, fellowship, and a little friendly competition!
The day was filled with heartfelt worship, team challenges to assemble broken-up Bible verses, lightning-fast verse-finding competitions, and group discussions reflecting on Chapel topics from the past year.
It was a wonderful opportunity to reinforce everything the children had learned throughout the year while having lots of fun together. 📖✨
Moments like these help nurture faith, strengthen community, and encourage children at Kids Alive Lebanon to grow in their relationship with God.

Learners enjoyed an exciting Interschool Ball Games Competition, showcasing their talent, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship in football, handball, and volleyball.
More than just competition, the day celebrated unity, resilience, and the power of sport to help young people grow, build confidence, and thrive. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success!
