holds true to our values as a community, one with a goal to improve accessibility and inclusivity while acknowledging the vast intersectional experiences of our members.
Because our Driven By Us Women are not only women. They’re Black women. They’re Muslim women. They’re women from differing socioeconomic backgrounds. They’re q***r women. They’re neurodivergent women. They’re disabled women. They’re multidimensional, multi-faceted women.
The Driven By Us women are part of the women globally who only possess 64% of the legal rights that men hold. They are a part of the women who earn 87p for every £1 a man earns.
But they are the mechanics, the authors, the doctors, the activists, the engineers, the cleaners, the biologists, the baristas, the artists that help the world keep turning.
Our Driven By Us Women are strong and are achieving outstanding things in global motorsport, but the industry must continue to do better for them and to ensure equity in experiences and journeys.
We must do better for the young women and girls - and keep going for our younger selves💜
