We had an amazing group of volunteers from DWS joining us this morning at Notre Dame estate in Clapham, where they built four raised beds and two new compost bins.

This was a much-wanted addition to the estate's community growing space, as they had room for propagation, but nowhere to grow the plants on.

Thanks to Awards for All for funding the materials to make this happen, to Notre Dame tenants and residents association for organising the day, and to DWS volunteers for all their hard work! ✨

We had a lovely afternoon at the garden open day at in Benton’s Lane Estate last Saturday. Residents got together, harvested compost (from IEL’s bins!), learned about the new pond and orchard (installed during IEL’s biodiversity project and with support from and the Urban Orchard Project!), and enjoyed free Brazilian food and an art workshop from .

Thanks to the National Lottery for funding the event, and to Mimi from Benton’s Lane food growing project for organising the day.

Join us at Myatt's Fields Park this Saturday for our Plant Swap!

Bring along your surplus baby plants and swap them with other growers at Incredible Edible Lambeth plant swap this month. Dozens of people picked up seeds at our Seed Swap in the Garden Museum in March so we’re hoping everyone will share the love and their gardening prowess at our plant swap. The quiet garden is near the entrance to the park nearest to the junction of Cormont Road and Knatchbull Road.
