Thereβs something deeply healing about moments like thisβ¦.πππΎ
This afternoon, the girls were lying peacefully together amongst the long wispy grass after filling their bellies in the pasture, completely grounded, relaxed and softly cudding
beneath the warmth of the day.
Their eyes half closed in what almost felt
like a meditative state⦠calm, safe
and fully at peace. πππ
And then there was Blossomβ¦ π₯Ή
As I slowly scanned across the field, she had completely let goβ¦ gently flopping onto her side, eyes softly closed, drifting into what looked like the deepest and most peaceful dream. π₯° ππ
Even the flies landing on her face barely disturbed her.
Animals only rest like this when they truly feel safe.
Moments like these remind me that sanctuary is not simply actually about rescueβ¦
Itβs about creating a world where sentient beings can finally Exhale.. π
Where they can eat peacefully, rest deeply,
feel the sun on their skin, the grass beneath them, and know they are no longer in danger. We are their guardians ππ±
I truly believe if more people could witness moments like this firsthand, the world would become a gentler place for animals, humanity and the planet.ππποΈ
Thank you for loving these beautiful cow girls alongside us ππβ¨
