Good Wolf People

Good Wolf People We want to develop people’s creative skills and inspire them to use arts activities as part of their journey through life.

A drama and theatre company in Croydon

Supporting people, communities & services to;
Access to the arts
Be heard & understood
Participate

We create events, run workshops, make theatre. Good Wolf exists to work together with other organisations and the community to achieve two things:

Improve access to the arts for all
Enable people to be heard and understood

We want to bring different peop

le together to talk and listen to one another. The arts are a way to express yourself and tell your stories. Through sharing our experiences in creative ways we can better connect, understand and move forward with each other. We are based in Croydon but are happy to discuss partnerships and services that might be further afield than London or the South East.

Edinburgh audience comments:

100 year old letter - 100% recommended. The story was engrossing, the characters entertaining and the hour just whizzed by - what a brilliant start to my fringe.

A great story, well presented. One of my favourites for this year.

What a great story - great actors
Loved it and totally recommend!

Highly entertaining and also a history lesson. I loved this. Go and see it !

This has been over a year and a half of a journey. It started in a church hall in Dulwich and became a sell out Edinburgh show (we were the 12th show of 2024 to sell out, just before Mhairi Black and Dara O Briain - for context there are 3,500 shows here...).

It's been the ride of a lifetime and it's not even over yet (check out The Bridge House Theatre for our September dates back in London).

So many people have been a part of this along the way and thanks to every single one of you, but special thanks to Finlay and Lucy, Stephen Oxford, Ben Beck, Kimberley Ougden Michelle Hayes, Jo Walker, Steve Berryman, The Bridge House Theatre, Greenside Venues, Emma Jaggs, Debbie Williams, Lauren Walker and Sandy Muirhead - we love you all ###x

But I guess the biggest thanks of all goes to Christabel and Katie.
We will never forget you.

Book now to see our SELL OUT Edinburgh show back in London.

(I am never going to get tired of saying 'sell out Edinburgh show'.)

STOP PRESS!!!!

We are no longer a sell-out Edinburgh show!!!

"What's that?" you cry... "Have you had a rush of returns???"

Nope.

We've added two extra shows to our sold out run!

If you could, please give this a little share. We really liked being sold out and it would be lovely to get there again.

Also, for those telling us they left it too late to get an Edinburgh ticket - NOW'S YOUR CHANCE!!!!!

In London and wanting to celebrate PRIDE? But you don't want to watch a load of corporate pink-washers and the met police wave their non-recyclable plastic flags at you, right?

Excellent!! Then go and celebrate by watching this instead. It's the best q***r show I've seen in years. Laugh-till-you-hurt funny, super-sweet and you also learn stuff.

ONE LAST CHANCE TO CATCH THIS TONIGHT!!!

DO IT!!!

It's just over two weeks until the premier of our new play The 100 Year Old Letter. It runs for two weeks at the The Bridge House Theatre in Penge before heading to the Edinburgh Festival and it tells the (mostly) true story of a letter sent from Bath in 1916 which finally arrived in Hamlet Road in 2021.

Drawing on research from the Norwood Society Local History, interviews with the local residents who found the letter and six months of play, devising and improvisation by Good Wolf the show opens a door into the lives of two women living in the area in the early 1900s...

THE 100 YEAR OLD LETTER

It's only a few weeks away now, so it's time to start promoting our show!! Part true story, part verbatim, part ridiculous nonsense - maybe I would have passed my A Level if History had been this much fun.

We're on at The Bridge House Theatre in Penge from 9th to 20th July!! (And then on to Edinburgh in August, which is almost 1/3 sold out now!!!!)

Book a ticket and come see us ###x

Hey Bedford!!! For one night only on 13th July this brilliant show is coming to The Place!!

I've been plugging this since I caught the original run in South London last year - it's a little gem that really deserves a big audience.

If you possibly can, do go and see it - and make sure to tell people who might be interested but maybe don't usually go to theatre (yes, it's one of those brilliant gateway shows that can actually draw new audience to live theatre!)
