We are delighted to announce that Paralympian GB Gold Medalist Aaron Phipps MBE has become an Ambassador for Cake4kindness Day that will take place on Thursday 19th November 2026.

Neel Radia Founder for Cake4Kindness CIC says “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Aaron as our Ambassador. His passion for inclusion, resilience and community perfectly reflects what Cake4Kindness stands for, and we’re excited to have him helping us inspire even more people to take part.”

Speaking about becoming an Ambassador, Aaron said: “I joined Neel last year for Cake4Kindness Day at Country Court Care Home and saw first-hand the positive difference this project makes, not just for those baking and decorating the cakes, but also for the people experiencing homelessness who receive them.

“The atmosphere in the care home was wonderful, full of laughter, smiles and meaningful conversations. It was clear how much the residents enjoyed getting involved and spending time together.

“Decorating the cakes was great fun! I even learned a new skill along the way. I wouldn’t call myself a professional baker, but I fully embraced the creative process. The focus was on having fun rather than perfection, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Knowing the cakes would be donated to people experiencing homelessness made my involvement feel truly meaningful.

“I love initiatives like this. They bring people together, spread kindness and show how even a small, shared activity can make a real difference. I’m proud to be supporting Cake4Kindness Day 2026 and hope even more people will get involved.”

20 November 2025, marked our third annual Day and our largest turnout yet.

Seeing Care homes, schools, hospitality businesses and community organisations across the world participate to bake a difference for those experiencing homelessness.

With your help:

🧁 146 Organisations participated on the day
🧁 8045 Cakes were baked and distributed
🧁 106 Charities connected with who support those experiencing homelessness

This year also saw inspiring support from Paralympic gold medallist who joined residents in two care homes for an afternoon of baking and decorating.

A milestone moment came with the participation of our first hotel partner, Holiday Inn Express Stratford, where the team baked together before delivering their cakes to the local Salvation Army during a coffee drop-in for people experiencing homelessness.

Our vision for Day is to empower communities to bake and share cakes with those experiencing homelessness to stimulate interaction, build connection and ultimately spread kindness.

With your support we have managed to achieve this, and have already started making plans to make next years outreach, even bigger.

Gratitude Post 🙏🏾

When I started my journey, it was really hard, as I was still learning, and knew what I wanted to achieve and why I wanted to bake for those experiencing but lacked that confidence at the time.

I reached out to several charities and people who I thought would support or give guidance, but was surprised at how few did.

Until I was introduced to Mansook Uncle from who with his wealth of knowledge and guidance, not only encouraged me to follow my heart ❤️ but gave me the confidence to keep moving forward.

So today I wish to acknowledge and thank Mansook Uncle for helping me to drive forward and thank everyone else around me who has supported me with my vision, to reduce loneliness and social isolation through the giving of cake, and starting that all important first conversation.

Let us all continue to support each other as we do at through Day, so together we can support those in need of compassion, love and kindness.

We are all humans after all and we must continue to support and be kind to one another.
