The Annual General Meeting & Mid-Autumn Festival Gathering of the Oriental Chinese Community will be held at Golden Dragon (Colindale Branch) on Tuesday 22 September 2026, from 5-7 pm.

Members who register and make payment before 31 August will enjoy an early bird discount!

Free haircuts for members aged 75 and above on Tuesday 25 August 2026, from 12:30 PM to 3 PM at Oriental Chinese Community!

Advanced booking is required. Limited availability allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Attending members must wash your hair prior to arrival.

To register, please provide the member's full name, membership number, age, and the expected attendance time (each appointment lasts about 15 minutes).

Thank you to NHS Brent Talking Therapies for visiting Oriental Chinese Community yesterday and delivering a Stress Management Workshop for our members.

The workshop gave everyone a better understanding of how stress is maintained and shared practical tips for managing stress. We were pleased to have more than 10 members join the session. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the workshop. We hope to host more workshops in the future and continue supporting the health and wellbeing of our community.

Our Dragon Boat Festival Rice Dumpling Making Workshop was great fun today! 💚

We made traditional Alkaline Rice Dumplings (鹼水糭) with lotus seed paste, a classic sweet rice dumpling enjoyed during the festival.

A big thank you to the chefs from Golden Dragon for demonstrating how to make rice dumplings and for preparing all the ingredients for us. Thank you to all our members for their support and for joining us today.

We wish everyone a happy Dragon Boat Festival filled with family, happiness, and plenty of delicious rice dumplings!

今天的端午節糉子製作工作坊進行得非常順利又開心！💚

大家一起做了傳統蓮蓉鹼水糭，是端午節很受歡迎的甜糉。

感謝金龍軒的師傅們示範包糉，還幫我們準備好所有材料。亦多謝各位會員一直以來的支持，以及今天抽空參加活動。
