Today I stopped breastfeeding.

I knew it would be emotional, but I wasn’t prepared for the tears… not just mine, but my little boy’s too. Today reminded me that breastfeeding isn’t only about milk. It’s comfort, safety, love and the way they know how to fall asleep.

Watching him cry while asking for something that has always been there for him broke my heart.

To all the mums who have been through this… how did you cope? How long did it take your little one to adjust? What helped the most?

To live in the in-between...✈️ Carrying two homes, yet

A man’s work is from sun to sun, but a woman’s work is never done. That saying has survived for generations because, for so many women, it reflects reality. Women have always worked at home, in the workplace, raising children, caring for loved ones, managing households, carrying the emotional and mental load that often goes unseen. Yet so much of that work has been expected rather than appreciated. Feminism isn’t about proving that women can do it all. We already have. It’s about asking why they were ever expected to. Equality begins when invisible labour is no longer invisible and when responsibility is shared, not assumed.
