Any excuse for a CA get-together!
A few Biscay Section members needed to be in Vannes this weekend to renew their Cartes de Séjour – so naturally, others tagged along for moral support - and somehow an impromptu drinks and nibbles party happened!

Crews from Caerulea, Genepi, Katy Dee, Misty Blue, Mystic Breeze, Persuasion, Shining Light, Talulah, Tamara, Tango, Tonic and Toucan joined the fun.

Who knew French admin could be so sociable? 🥂 A great example of the friendship and camaraderie that comes with being part of the CA cruising community. ⚓

🐬One of the great joys of life afloat - you never quite know what nature has in store. 🐬

On passage from Helford to Fowey, sailing gently in light winds, CA members Simon and Fiona Hampton-Matthews were joined by a pod of around ten dolphins.

For a magical ten minutes or so they played around their bow, keeping them company as they made their way along the coast.

Moments like these are a wonderful reminder that the journey is as special as the destination. ⛵
