The first week of November was occupational therapy week and the UCLH OTs had a celebratory breakfast funded by the Friends. They had wanted to hold the event last year but it was cancelled at the last minute because of an increase in Covid cases. Friends were very happy to reschedule this year and help occupational therapists to meet colleagues from across the Trust and outside their immediate teams!

The Friends funded a roof gardening competition in 2021 at the RNENTED hospital which was so successful that we were asked for another grant this year - £3000 🪴
The staff will now be planting 1000 bulbs by the end of October!

The Friends have been supporters of UCLH's Exemplar programme since it started. This year we are giving Exemplar £10k, which will fund presentation skills training and a face to face learning and celebration event. Improvement awards are another part of the Exemplar scheme - here Charles House, Medical Director, makes a presentation to the latest team to be recognised for improvement effort.
