We’re delighted to announce the recipients of Parallel Perspectives, a paid residency programme between ODAC, based in Central London, and Level Centre in rural the rural Derbyshire.

It’s our final ‘Work Party For Cheats’ tomorrow evening and there are a few (very limited) spaces still available!

If you have unfinished tasks (finishing a CV or a painting, organising a routine or event, writing an application or a letter… anything!) then join us tomorrow afternoon at 2pm for a work party for cheats!

The Black Boy Joy Club return to ODAC with us this week with TWO events!

Thursday 25th August: Self-Care Sessions - hosted by The Black Boy Joy Club and , this is the most recent in a series of workshops where participants explore what self-care looks like for Black Q***r Men.

Saturday 28th August: Group Cooking is a great way to relax and share stories and make new friends, The Black Boy Joy Club with presents their summer cooking classes and brunch. You will be provided with all the equipment and ingredients as well as guided every step of the way in how to prepare tasty dishes that you get to share with the group. Afterwards relax and chill as we enjoy our Sunday film club.

The Regent’s Park Estate Community Festival was a joyful gathering of over a thousand of our diverse local residents, including conversation, information, food, dance and story-telling. Those projects used to gather stories will be used to develop new arts and social projects in the coming months…

It was fantastic to see so many local and creative organisations collaborating and celebrating our community.

The full programme for THIS Saturday's Regent's Park Estate Community Festival is now live!

All across the area in Cumberland Market, Clarence Gardens and outside

Themed around Stories of our Community, the festival offers a range of opportunities to exchange, record and share our history, explore our present and imagine our future together with our neighbours.

Some highlights include ‘s Radio Local Lite in Cumberland Market - a brand new pop radio show built with, by and for local people and a dance stage outside ODAC, featuring Cie. Decalage - Marso Riviere with Mendi Singh, fusing Breaking and contemporary dance...plus our young people's dance project Remix Dance, including new choreography from original members of .

In Clarence Gardens, in an amongst a huge selection of local infomation services and charities, we have Talkaoke from The People Tweet - pop-up talk show where you get to have your say on what’s important to you.

And inflatables, free food, music, films, singers, and much much more!

Thank you so much to and to all the participants and helpers that made the first Holiday Activities and Food programme here at ODAC such a success.

The children took on an international journey, bringing cultures and stories to life through a range of create-your-own comics and combining action packed days of drama, dance, crafts - and, of course, food.

Our second’HAF’ week, a Remix Dance project is running now ahead of performances at the Regent’s Park Estate Community Festival on Saturday!

Thanks, as always to for his fantastic pictures that captured the fun and excitement in the room at the final showcase!
