💬 "While women weep as the do now, I'll fight... While there is a poor lost girl upon the streets,
While there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I'll fight-I'll fight to the very end!”

🙏Those were the words of our founder, General William Booth. And his fight is still our fight today, especially today as we pray for the victims of modern slavery and human trafficking.

🙌 We thank everyone who has joined this campaign, and we pray that our prayers do not cease today, but will continue on as our brothers and sisters remain in the darkness of exclusion, oppression, and violence.

🙏 We believe in a God that is fair, righteous and just. And He will bring deliverance to the oppressed, marginalised, and the ones who are hurting.

🙌 This Sunday, join us in prayer as we lift up those who are in need of freedom and deliverance. May God continually use The Salvation Army as His instrument of deliverance, love, and peace.

📖 'The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.’ – Psalm 146:8 NLT

🙏 This Sunday, let us ask the Lord to open our eyes to see those who are suffering and hurting around us, and for Him to help us to be His hands and feet as we seek and save the lost.

🙌 What keeps us from noticing people who might need help – fear, distraction, assumptions? Let us pray fervently to God to help us see them.

🌎 Today is the International Day of Peace, and as God's children, we are called to be peacemakers. 🕊️
📖"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Matthew 5:9, NIV

🙏 There can never be true peace without justice, and as Christians, we must keep on praying that the vulnerable, the victims, and the survivors find peace with the end of exploitation.

🙌 At The Salvation Army, we believe that everyone should be able to live in peace without being exploited and we open our hearts and minds and ask the Lord to hear our prayers to protect the vulnerable throughout communities across the world.

🙏 Together, this 27 September 2026, let us pray for the victims of modern slavery and human trafficking. Let us open our eyes, raise our voices and stand in prayer for justice.
