As we reflect on the year of 2025 we are always so sad and sorry when we lose members that have been promoted to heaven and our condolences go out to their loved ones . Also we think of all of the members that have been unwell during the year and our welfare officer Janet continues to send cards and fruit baskets to the sick which we know is so much appreciated.

As we reflect more on the year, we have enjoyed so many social events, outings, meals, games afternoon and not forgetting our work with St. John Ambulance, competitions , duties, cadet leadership course and much much more.

How could we forget it was also our 25th Anniversary, we held a celebration lunch for 60 members and guests. Our marching group was on parade and marched behind the band of the island of Jersey when they beat retreat in the Howard Davis park with our President Carol Brisset O.St.J taking the salute .

We would very much like to thank
the St.John Fellowship committee for their hard work and dedication to members . The committee can only be described as the A-Team . We wish all our members and St.John Ambulance colleagues a very happy Christmas and happiness and good health in 2026.
The committee during 2025 consisted of:
President Carol Brisset
Chairman Doug Hull
Vice chairman Lady Isabella Harrison
Secretary Julie Ellis
Treasurer Yvonne Ellis
Liaison officer/ marching group leader John Brisset.
Welfare officer. Janet De Gruchy
Recruiting officer and marching group secretary Theresa Prouse
Social committee Chairman Pearl Bayliss
Assisted by Trevor Bayliss Janet De Gruchy, Theresa Prouse and Non committee Laura Prouse and Emily Prouse .

Wednesday, 10 December 2025 saw fellowship members enjoying their last monthly games afternoon of the year with lots of fun served with afternoon tea, mince pies Christmas cake and the pulling of Christmas crackers. It’s always so rewarding for the social committee to see former members of St. John Ambulance going back 60 years plus coming to the games afternoons, some living in residential homes and one gentleman coming every month with his carer thats what the fellowship is all about, meeting together and having fun.
