Spread Eagle Theatre London's oldest dramatics society, entertaining audiences since 1889. We always welcome new members!

The Spread Eagle Players is a London-based dramatics group which rehearses in Canary Wharf and performs at the Bridewell Theatre in Blackfriars. We do all that we can to maintain an ethos of high quality productions whilst making them accessible to all. Founded in 1889, originally as The Barclays Dramatic Society for members of Barclays Bank, these days, membership to the Spread Eagle Players is open to everyone over the age of 18, but the group still enjoys the support of the bank.
