Press Statement:

Outcome of Consultative Meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR)

I am pleased to report on a significant consultative meeting held yesterday with His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR). The meeting was attended by key leaders of our party and government, including the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola CON; the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; and the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Focus on Unity and Party Principles
President Tinubu’s address was marked by a profound appeal for unity and cohesion among all party aspirants. His Excellency stressed the critical importance of love and internal harmony, advising against any form of internal discord that may undermine the party's collective success, citing lessons learned from the outcome of the last governorship election.

The President comprehensively addressed vital party governance issues, including the zoning of offices, the supremacy of the party structure, the role of a consensus arrangement, and the necessity of upholding fairness, equity, and justice within our political process.

Addressing Key Concerns and Constituencies
During the session, I formally raised the matter concerning the alleged unjust disqualification and articulated the legitimate political interests of the Ife Constituency.

In response, President Tinubu demonstrated his commitment to due process by immediately assuring me that the matter of my disqualification would be addressed. He directed the National Party Chairman to take the necessary and immediate action on this issue. Regarding the interests of the Ife Constituency, the President affirmed his deep connection and commitment, stating, "We are all from Ife, and I will do everything to protect the interest."

Commitment to Party Resolution and Discipline
Based on the constructive and reassuring outcome of this high-level meeting, and with the firm commitment from our leaders to address my concerns, I wholeheartedly agree with all resolutions reached. I hereby align with the position of the party, maintaining the highest level of discipline and respect for established procedures, and prioritizing the collective interest of the All Progressives Congress at this crucial juncture.

Gratitude and Vision for the Future
I wish to convey my profound gratitude to all my supporters across the state, including our dedicated APC members, the Party Executive Committees at the Ward, Local, and State levels, the NextGen Progressive, the Women Raising Movement, and my beloved Ife Constituency. Our shared mandate for a better society is an ongoing commitment. All our planned programs will continue, as my vision for a more sustainable and improved society extends far beyond any single election cycle.

Special thanks are extended to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his unwavering commitment and sacrifices towards building a better Nigeria. I also appreciate the valuable contributions of the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola; the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Governor Hope Uzodimma; and my fellow aspirants for their participation in the broader consultative process.

Thank you all.

Long live the All Progressives Congress. Long live Osun State. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

NEXTGEN PROGRESSIVE: THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT ORALUSI.

THE ENTIRE OSUN EAST WAS SILENCED

Let’s say the truth boldly:

What the APC Screening Committee did is bigger than disqualifying Hareter Babatunde Oralusi (HBO).
They disqualified an entire zone — the whole Eastern part of Osun State — just to clear the path for only aspirants from Osun West, where the current PDP governor (Ademola Adeleke) also comes from.

How does that make sense in a democracy?

How do you silence a whole geopolitical bloc of the party?

Why should the people of Osun East — Ife, Ijesa, and the entire axis — be pushed out of the race before the race even starts?

This is not screening.
This is political engineering.
This is injustice packaged as procedure.

And the worst part?

They expect the public to believe that HBO, the most organised, most prepared, and most credible youth-driven aspirant in the entire APC, somehow “failed documentation”.
A man who planned his entire structure down to the last ward?
A man whose paperwork has always been flawless?

Stop insulting the intelligence of Osun people.

We see the calculations.
We see the bias.
And we refuse to keep quiet.

NextGen Progressive is not protesting for position — we are standing for equity, fairness, and balance in Osun politics.

Osun East deserves a voice.
Osun East deserves representation.
Osun East deserves a fair fight.

We stand with HBO today, tomorrow, and until justice is restored.
This fight is bigger than one man — this is about the soul of Osun.

🚨 NEXTGEN PROGRESSIVE REJECTS THE APC SCREENING RESULT 🚨

Let it be known:

Hareter Babatunde Oralusi (HBO) did NOT fail any screening.
He submitted EVERY required document.
He met EVERY constitutional condition.
He is the MOST PREPARED, MOST DETAILED and MOST COMPETENT aspirant in Osun APC — and everybody knows it.

So this sudden “disqualification” is nothing but a kangaroo, backdoor, manipulated result cooked up by a panel that clearly lacked transparency.

We reject it. Completely. Totally. Fearlessly.

How can the most organised aspirant be disqualified for “documentation issues”?
Stop playing with our intelligence.

Osun youths are watching.
Nigeria is watching.
History is watching.

NextGen Progressive will NOT keep quiet.
We stand firmly behind HBO — the only aspirant with a clear vision, real capacity, and genuine love for Osun.

Until our principal speaks to us directly or a transparent process is restored,
we remain on alert.
We remain united.
WE REMAIN UNSTOPPABLE.

Osun must rise.
Osun will rise.
And NO manipulated screening can stop destiny.
