Need a lunchtime reset? 🧘‍♀️

We’ll be hosting Lie Down and Listen, a new, free experience to help you relax and recuperate, this Thursday from 12-15pm-1:45pm at Barts North Wing, St Bartholomew’s. Led by pianist and Lie Down and Listen founder Christina McMaster, who brings two decades of classical piano experience, the event will feature...

🔔 A Tibetan bowl sound healing experience
🎹 A live classical piano concert, enjoyed while lying down in the stunning heritage space
🛏️ Mattresses, cushions and blankets provided for your comfort

Inspired by Christina’s grandmother’s story of how her grandfather would turn to the opera to feel uplifted when he was feeling unwell or down, this special event brings that same idea of music as a source of comfort and restoration to St Bartholomew’s. For those tired of eating lunch at their home desk, it’s a rare chance to truly switch off.

⏳ 15 days left - It’s your final chance to experience origo!

These aerial views capture the incredible scale of artist Delcy Morelos’ immersive installation, where soil, clay and fragrant spices transform the Barbican’s Sculpture Court into a living landscape, inviting visitors to reconnect with the earth beneath our feet. 🌿

It’s also your last opportunity to experience our exclusive Meditation & Sound Bath session, hosted within Delcy’s monumental installation at the Barbican and led by sound practitioner, Grazia Piras. Taking place on Tuesday 21 July, from 6:15–7:30pm, this unique session allows you to immerse yourself in origo’s rich scents, textures and atmosphere.

Designed to help you ‘move through sculpture’ as part of our ‘Move the Mile’ summer programme, origo invites you to step away from your desk, explore the Culture Mile and experience art from a new perspective.

The exhibition closes on 31 July, so don’t miss your chance to experience it before it’s gone!
