Sometimes giving connection doesn’t look like much.

It might be a side-hug, a nod or just letting them sit near you without words.

But that moment tells your child:
You’re safe
You’re loved
You don’t have to fix everything right now

Small connections build the strongest bridges. 💜

It’s hard to talk about “The Thing” that happened in the middle of a meltdown - the shouting, hitting, breaking.

But remember: shame can lock a child in that cycle.

Co-regulation and love open the door out of it.

Talk later, when you’re both calm. Love first.

Our first Animal of Your Heart session at was full of imagination.

Children discovered animals who invited them to:
🦊 play with sticks
🐅 climb trees and leap from branch to branch
🐭 jump with joy
🐍 play football
🐖 fly high in the sky

Not every child found their animal this time - and that’s okay. Everyone listened closely to the story, and it was a beautiful moment of shared creativity. 💜

Thank you to all the families who joined us. 🌿

Upcoming sessions: 21 & 28 October

Just because someone managed something yesterday, doesn’t mean it will be possible for them today - and that’s okay.

We all move through life with different capacities, energy, and needs. Meeting someone (including yourself!) where they are in this moment is one of the kindest gifts you can give.

Compassion means remembering that effort looks different every day. 💜
