We had a mother great session on June 20th.
The radio on the left was broken but offered up on the street WhatsApp for anyone who wanted to try and fix it. We took it to the repair cafe to see if indeed it could be fixed, as there was no point taking it otherwise. In a quiet moment one of our volunteer repairers had a look at it. At the same time a visitor came in with a nearly identical radio. Their radio was not fixable but the ‘street’ radio was. We duly offered up the newly fixed one and the visitor went off delighted. What are the chances of that?
The only disappointment was our volunteer repairer’s who wanted both to be broken and fixed by combining parts from the two different items: a repairer’s dream scenario 😆.
