Meet the fifteen organisations we're proud to be supporting this year. 🧡

Selected for their impact in our two funding priorities: giving children the best start in life and tackling violence against women and girls, these organisations are helping to build safer lives and stronger futures every day.

From baby banks to abuse prevention, reading programmes to tackling furniture poverty, their work changes lives, strengthens communities and creates lasting impact. We're honoured to support them in delivering their vital missions.

This year, we're especially delighted to welcome seven new charities to the Two Magpies Fund funding family: Children Heard and Seen Doorstep Library Free To Be Kids Charity Giving Hope CIC Happy Baby Community Everyone's Invited IDAS (Independent Domestic Abuse Services) . They join our existing, and in some cases long-term, partners: CARIS Families Little Village HQ Fair Hearing Furnishing Futures Let Me Know Luminary Women Refuge and Project Resist.

You can read more about each of them on our website https://www.twomagpiesfund.co.uk/funded-projects. Thank you to every one of our grant partners for the dedication and expertise you bring to your communities. We can't wait to see what we'll achieve together.

Last month we were privileged to be part of something really special. 🙌 Two Magpies Fund joined leading policymakers, academics, practitioners, funders, healthcare professionals and police in Cambridge for a VAWG summit hosted by the Downing Battcock Institute.

It was heartening to see so many different worlds in the same room, all connected by a genuine passion to improve the UK’s ability to tackle violence against women and girls.

Together we took stock of the existing evidence; learned from promising interventions in other countries; explored case studies of programmes that have already been evaluated; and identified priorities for a potential national What Works programme.

It was energising, thought-provoking and optimistic and an honour to be in the room to learn from colleagues, add our expertise, and represent those we fund. It felt like the start of something that could drive real change.

“It’s not tradition, not culture, but a violation of human rights, violence against women and girls, and a global health emergency.” 👏

Last night we joined a packed room of amazing survivors and campaigners at the FGM Summit. We celebrated just how far we’ve come in the last 40 years, and learnt what needs to be done to help the 4.3million girls still at risk every year. Uplifting, inspiring and thought provoking.

We're excited to announce that our 'Best Start In Life' Fund is now open for applications.

Did you know that four million children in the UK are growing up in poverty (DWP)? To help combat this, we're offering ÂŁ15,000 grants to charitable organisations supporting babies and young children affected by poverty. Click the link for more information and to apply by 30 June 2026.

The majority of Two Magpies funding consists of multi-year, unrestricted, flexible grants, which we know are essential for charities to sustain their programmes and create meaningful change. So, if you are new to Two Magpies Fund, this is also a great opportunity to introduce yourself and get on our radar for future funding opportunities.
