A Little Extra Dedication, A Lot of Love at Riverview Lodge

At Riverview Lodge, we are incredibly fortunate to have a team who go above and beyond—not just during their working hours, but because they genuinely care about the home and the people who live here.

Today, we would like to give a very special shout-out to our wonderful care worker, Zoriana, who gave up part of her day off to come in and plant beautiful marigolds outside Riverview Lodge.

Her thoughtful gesture has brought so much colour, warmth and joy to our outdoor space—and, most importantly, our residents absolutely love seeing the beautiful flowers blooming outside.

It is moments like this that truly remind us what makes Riverview Lodge special. Zoriana’s kindness, creativity and dedication are a wonderful reflection of the compassion and commitment that our staff bring to our home every single day.

Thank you, Zoriana, for going the extra mile and helping to make Riverview Lodge an even more beautiful and welcoming place for our residents.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Day at Riverview Lodge!

Who can resist the smell and taste of a delicious chocolate chip cookie? Today, our residents celebrated Chocolate Chip Cookie Day with a sweet treat that brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and happy memories.

From the first bite to the last crumb, everyone enjoyed taking a moment to relax, chat, and indulge in chocolate chip cookies. Sometimes it’s the simplest pleasures that create the biggest smiles, and today was a wonderful reminder of that.

Life at Riverview Lodge is all about creating meaningful moments, celebrating the little things, and making every day special for our residents.

Look how much they’ve grown!

A little while ago, our residents rolled up their sleeves and got busy planting mint, tomatoes and peppers as part of our gardening activities. Today, we’re so excited to share just how well everything is growing!

Our mint is thriving, the tomato plants are now full of healthy tomatoes, and our pepper plants have grown beautifully, with peppers beginning to appear. It’s been wonderful for our residents to watch their hard work blossom over the past few weeks.

Gardening is so much more than planting seeds – it encourages gentle exercise, brings people together, creates meaningful conversations, and gives everyone a real sense of achievement as they watch something they nurtured come to life.
