SFLT envisions to reach the unreached and serve the underserved through projects in health, education, and social sectors in remote areas
of Pakistan along with attending to any national or international catastrophes like war, earthquake & flood worldwide. SAHARA For Life Trust is a National level organization working in all the provinces of the country and its first project is Sughra Shafi Medical Complex, a 600 bedded certified General Hospital. SSMC provides state of art healthcare facilities to more than 4 million population in the catchment area. The hospital is affiliated with PMDC, the University of Health Sciences Punjab (UHS), and the Ministry of Health (MoH). All medical and surgical services including emergencies are offered 24/7, free of cost or in subsidized charges to poor & marginalized people of Narowal and so far more than 2.7 million patients have been treated. SLT has more than 600 permanent employees in different programs & projects and has well-established different departments i.e. marketing, Internal Audit, Monitoring & Evaluation, Finance, Admin/HR, Material Management Department (MMD), MIS (Managing Information System), and Marketing at Head Office. Senior Management established the Youth Parliament of Pakistan which has more than 173,000 trained Volunteers from all over the country. The founder and Chairman of the Trust Mr. Abrar Ul Haq (S.E, T.I) is a symbol of human service, an internationally known social worker, a music ICON, and OICโs Humanitarian Ambassador.
