Hello there!

You’re in the right place, sis! 💎
Let’s grow together. 💫 My name is Tolu; I faced many trials and tribulations growing up. I still remember my childhood when the devil tried his hardest to terminate my life, but it never happened because God was on my side; without Him, I would not be alive today. I was born and raised in a Christian home, and I have always loved God with all my heart and committed to fulfilling my purpose and using my story to bless the lives of youth and young adults. While I was in secondary school and college, I was bullied by classmates because of the way I looked and talked. This caused me to have trauma, and I was Unable to make and keep friends with other people. I was always alone and tended to spend time in the library reading to keep myself company. Being bullied affected me negatively, and I lost confidence in myself until I could stand up for myself, and I felt free and had peace of mind. I have experienced many failures, discouragements, and disappointments in my life and education. I remember during my days in college when I was doing my functional skills in math and English, I kept failing. I cannot even remember how many times I did it before I could pass it. Wow, that day, I was so happy because I kept studying hard and believing in myself that one day, I was going to pass it, and I did. Another time I experienced failure, discouragement and disappointment when applying to university to study for my 1st degree. Everything looked like it would not happen because I was getting rejected everywhere, but I did not give up and kept believing because I knew that God was on my side. I have also suffered from depression and anxiety because I did not know my purpose and self-worth as a young girl and lady, and I allowed negative thinking and mindset to cloud my mind. I remember when I was lost and thinking there was no way. I was always in so much pain because I was holding on to too much baggage and burden that I could not let go of. I was holding on to things of the past weighing me because I was not ready to forgive myself and those, I was holding a grudge against. I overcame because I had people supporting and encouraging me to achieve my greatness and purpose. I had a mentor who always encouraged me and gave me words and tips, which has helped me in many ways. I by no means have it figured out. However, amid my journey, I have also realised the importance of turning into who I truly am and where my strength lies. I have also learnt to take the greatness I was blessed with to encourage and motivate others. I hope and dream that as we work alongside each other in this life, I can motivate and encourage you to live the life you are meant to live and fulfil your purpose in life. I hope to use my story and journey to encourage you and let you know that you can also have a testimony and a reason to smile if you do not give up and lose because you must unlock the greatness inside you.

DAY 28 — I WILL BLESS THE LORD AT ALL TIMES

Today, I am choosing to make praise more than something I do when everything is going well. I want praise and thanksgiving to become a lifestyle.

There will be seasons when prayers are answered quickly and seasons when we have to wait. There will be moments when God’s plan makes sense and moments when we cannot understand what He is doing.

But one thing remains unchanged: God is still worthy of our praise.

đź“– Psalm 34:1
“I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Father, today I return all the thanksgiving, honour and praise to You. Thank You for the victories I can see and the battles You have fought that I knew nothing about. Thank You for answered prayers and for the answers that are still unfolding.

When things are going well, I will praise You.
When I am waiting, I will praise You.
When I understand, I will praise You.
When I do not understand, I will still worship You.

My praise will not be controlled by circumstances because my confidence is in the God who remains faithful through every season.

My declaration:
Thanksgiving and praise will continually flow from my heart and mouth. Nothing will silence my worship. I will continually remember the goodness, mercy and faithfulness of God.

Lord, may Your praise never leave my mouth. Amen. 🙏🏽

DAY 27 — REJOICING IN THE RIGHTEOUS AND MERCIFUL GOD

Today, I am reminded that thanksgiving should not only be about the things God gives us. Sometimes, the greatest reason to rejoice is simply who God is.

God is righteous in all His ways. He is faithful even when circumstances are uncertain. He is merciful when we fall short. He is compassionate when we are hurting. He remains constant even when everything around us changes.

There have been seasons when I did not understand what God was doing, but looking back, I can see His mercy, wisdom and faithfulness throughout the journey.

This is why my confidence is not based only on what I can see happening around me. My confidence is in the character of God.

đź“– Psalm 145:17
“The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.”

Father, thank You because You are righteous, glorious, faithful and merciful. Thank You because Your character never changes. Thank You for dealing with me according to Your compassion and not according to what I deserve.

Today, I celebrate who You are, not simply what You give me.

My declaration:
My heart will continually rejoice in God. His righteousness, mercy, goodness and faithfulness will remain my confidence. Whatever season I find myself in, I will remember that I serve a God who is good, just, loving and trustworthy.

Lord, I rejoice in You today.

DAY 26 — THANK YOU, MOUNTAIN-MOVING GOD

Today, I am thanking God for every mountain He has moved from my path.

There are situations we face that seem too difficult, doors that appear permanently closed, delays that make us wonder whether anything will ever change, and obstacles that seem bigger than our strength.

But our confidence is not in our own ability. Our confidence is in the God for whom nothing is impossible.

When I look back, I can see mountains God moved that I once thought would remain forever. I can see situations He changed, doors He opened, dangers He removed and pathways He created where I could not see a way forward.

And because He has done it before, I trust Him with the mountains still standing before me.

đź“– Psalm 97:5
“The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD.”

Lord, thank You for dealing with every obstacle attempting to delay my destiny, purpose and progress. Thank You for making crooked places straight and creating pathways where there appeared to be no way.

Today I declare: Every mountain standing against my progress and destiny must give way. Every limitation is breaking. Every obstacle contrary to God’s purpose is being removed. Doors are opening, and I am moving forward into everything God has prepared for me.

No mountain is greater than my God. No situation is beyond His power. No obstacle can cancel His purpose.

What appears impossible today can become another testimony of His faithfulness tomorrow.

DAY 25 — I REJOICE BECAUSE YOU ARE MY KING

Today, I am grateful that I do not serve a powerless God. I serve the King of kings, whose authority is eternal and whose kingdom can never be shaken.

There are moments when life can feel uncertain and circumstances may appear bigger than us, but we can find peace in remembering that God is still on the throne.

He reigns over every situation. He sees what we cannot see. He knows the beginning from the end, and nothing takes Him by surprise.

Lord, I rejoice because You are not only the King of all the earth; You are my God and my King. Thank You for watching over my life, guiding me, protecting me and keeping me safely in Your hands.

đź“– Psalm 95:3
“For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.”

📖 Psalm 47:6–7
“Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth.”

Today, I declare that my life will honour the King of kings. My heart will rejoice, my voice will praise Him, and my testimony will reveal His greatness.

No matter what today looks like, I know Who is on the throne.

My God reigns. My King reigns. And I will rejoice.

DAY 24 — THANK YOU, LORD, FOR MY SALVATION

Today, I pause to thank God for a gift greater than anything this world could ever offer — the gift of salvation.

There are many things we can be grateful for: family, health, provision, opportunities, achievements and answered prayers. But above them all, I am thankful that Jesus Christ gave His life so that I could be forgiven, redeemed and reconciled to God.

Salvation reminds me that I am no longer defined by my mistakes or my past. Through Christ, I have received grace, mercy, forgiveness, a new identity and the hope of eternal life.

Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me enough to die for me. Thank You for rescuing me, forgiving me and bringing me into a relationship with You.

đź“– Psalm 62:1
“Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.”

đź“– Psalm 51:12
“Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”

Today I declare: I belong to God. I will continually walk in the joy of my salvation, grow in faith and live a life that honours and glorifies Him.

May I never become so familiar with salvation that I forget the price Jesus paid for me.

Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DAY 23 — THANK YOU, LORD, FOR GIVING ME A NEW SONG

Today, I am grateful to God for every part of my story He is changing.

There were moments that brought pain, disappointment, tears and uncertainty. There were chapters I would never have chosen for myself. Yet through every season, God remained present, faithful and purposeful.

The chapter that once made me cry does not have the authority to decide how my story ends.

God is still writing.

He can turn pain into purpose.
He can turn disappointment into testimony.
He can turn waiting into preparation.
He can turn mourning into celebration.
He can take an old story and create something completely new.

đź“– Psalm 40:3
“And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God.”

Father, thank You for giving me a new song to sing. Thank You for changing my story and transforming situations that once caused pain into testimonies of Your faithfulness.

Thank You because my past does not determine my future. I believe You are writing beautiful new chapters in my life.

I declare that a new song is rising from my life. Old disappointments are giving way to testimonies, breakthroughs, restoration and undeniable evidence of Your goodness.

May my story cause others to believe that God can change any situation and rewrite any chapter.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DAY 22 — THANK YOU, LORD, FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS

Today, I am taking time to remember the prayers God has answered.

Some prayers were answered quickly. Some required patience, waiting and trusting. Some answers arrived in ways I never expected. And there were moments when what God gave me looked completely different from what I had asked for—but later, I understood that His wisdom was greater than my own.

When I look back, I can see prayers that once brought tears to my eyes now standing before me as testimonies.

God heard the quiet prayers.
He heard the prayers I repeated for months and years.
He heard the prayers I could barely put into words.
He heard the cries of my heart when nobody else knew what I was carrying.

And He remained faithful.

đź“– Psalm 66:19
“But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.”

Father, thank You for every prayer You have answered, every answer that is currently unfolding, and every request You are responding to according to Your perfect will.

I also thank You for the times You said wait, the times You redirected me, and the times You protected me by not giving me exactly what I thought I needed.

Today, I return with gratitude and say:

Thank You, Lord. You have heard me before, and I trust You with every prayer still before You.

I declare that testimonies will arise from my prayers, impossible situations will turn around, and I will continue to see the goodness and faithfulness of God.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DAY 21 — THANK YOU, LORD, FOR FIGHTING MY BATTLES

Today, I pause to thank God for every battle He has fought on my behalf.

When I look back, I realise that there were situations I could never have overcome by my own strength. There were dangers I did not recognise, conversations I never heard, plans I never knew about and battles I did not even realise were taking place.

Yet God was there.

He defended me when I could not defend myself.
He protected me when I did not know I needed protection.
He strengthened me when I became weary.
He made a way when I could not see one.
And He carried me through battles that could have broken me.

Some victories came through answered prayers, some through closed doors, some through unexpected changes, and some through situations God simply removed me from.

For all of them, I say, Thank You, Lord.

đź“– Psalm 18:2
“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer.”

Today I declare: I do not fight my battles alone. God is my refuge, my shield, my defender and my deliverer. Every battle will end in victory, and every testimony will bring glory to His name.

Father, thank You for the battles You have already won and for the victories I have not yet seen. I trust You completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DAY 20 — MAY YOUR PRAISE NEVER LEAVE MY MOUTH

Today, I am grateful for the privilege of praising God.

There will always be something competing for our attention—our worries, unanswered questions, disappointments and challenges—but today I choose to remember the goodness and faithfulness of God.

I do not want to praise Him only when everything is working according to my plans. I want praise to become my lifestyle.

When I am celebrating, I will praise Him.
When I am waiting, I will praise Him.
When I am walking through uncertainty, I will praise Him.
When God answers my prayers, I will praise Him.
And while I am still waiting for the testimony, I will praise Him.

📖 Psalm 34:1: “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Father, thank You for everything You have done for me. May I never forget Your goodness. May gratitude continually fill my heart and may praise never depart from my lips.

I declare that my life will honour God, my mouth will continually testify of His goodness, and in every season I will have a reason to say, “Thank You, Lord.”

DAY 19 — THANK YOU, LORD, FOR HEARING MY CRY 🙏🏽💜

Today, I am thanking God for something deeply personal: He hears me.

There have been prayers I could express clearly, but there have also been moments when I did not have the words to explain how I felt. There were tears I cried privately, questions I carried silently and seasons when only God truly knew what was happening inside my heart.

Yet He was there.

He heard every prayer.
He saw every tear.
He understood every groaning.
He remained close in every difficult season.

Psalm 34:17–18 reminds us that the Lord hears when His people cry and that He is near to the brokenhearted.

Today, I thank God for being present in the moments when nobody else could fully understand. I thank Him for comforting me, strengthening me, sustaining me and continuing to bring healing to my heart, mind and soul.

I declare that every hidden wound is being touched by God. Peace is replacing pain, hope is replacing discouragement and restoration is taking place.

I am seen.
I am heard.
I am loved.
I am not forgotten.

Thank You, Lord, because no prayer and no tear is ever hidden from You.
